IREB Associate Member
As an Associate Member, you are part of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB e.V.) and actively participate in its technical work. This includes, in particular, participation in working groups, support in the further development of standards, certifications, and best practices, as well as participation in national and international IREB communities. Associate Members contribute their technical expertise in a targeted manner, thereby contributing to the continuous development of requirements engineering at the international level.
IREB Special Interest Group AI
The interface between AI (artificial intelligence) and requirements engineering has triggered exciting discussions within the IREB community. Inspired by this lively exchange and the groundbreaking importance of AI for RE, we have founded the AI Special Interest Group. This group of professionals with a focus on AI and software engineering deals intensively with the latest developments and the resulting opportunities and risks of this technology.

On July 5, I had the honor of giving a lecture at the ZHAW School of Management and Law as part of the CAS Agile Requirements Engineering. The topic of my talk was "Artificial Intelligence for Agile Requirements Engineering". This talk focused on how AI and various AI tools can be used effectively in agile requirements management. During the talk, I showed how Artificial Intelligence helps to optimize the process of requirements elicitation and supports teams to react faster to changes. Of particular note was the integration of AI in the analysis and prioritization of requirements, which leads to more efficient processing and faster decision-making. Another key topic was the automation of repetitive tasks using AI, such as the automatic generation of user stories or the recognition of patterns in large amounts of data. This allows teams to focus on creative and value-adding activities. The participants showed great interest in practical application examples and the AI tools presented, which not only support the agile development process but can also significantly accelerate it. This presentation provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the potential of artificial intelligence in an agile environment and show how these technologies are shaping the future of requirements engineering [...].
